STANDING IN THE SAME RIVER TWICE

£15.00

An exploration of being in the same river twice.

"Heraclitus said that no man ever steps into the same river twice. He’s, sort of, right.

Anyone can stand in the same river, or geographical space twice. Depending on where you are, literally and metaphorically. One visit can have more meaning than the other one.

We can all remember watching a film, or listening to an album, or reading a book and just thinking it was a bit shit? Then going back to it after letting it breath for a while and realising it was fucking brilliant? Or vice versa.

The ‘thing’ doesn’t change. You do….or don’t, as the case may be.

If you want to navigate some changes, you’ll have to revisit some old paths. Can we - even in the face of constant transformation - ever truly leave the past behind, or in some way, we stand in its waters again.

Look, don’t stare."
